UFC and Spike Announce Official Cast for Ultimate Fighter 10

The Ultimate Fighting Championship and Spike TV announced the official fighter roster of The Ultimate Fighter (TUF) 10 at the UFC Fan Expo at the Mandalay Bay Convention Center in Las Vegas, Nevada.
TUF 10, dubbed âThe Heavyweightsâ is currently in production and is scheduled to debut on cable network Spike TV on Sept. 16, 2009, at 10 p.m. ET.
Prior to today, famed street-brawler and EliteXC money train “Kimbo Slice” was the only officially announced castmember of the show, in addition to coaches Quinton “Rampage” Jackson and Rashard “Sugar” Evans. And while the complete list of competitors was leaked last month, today was came official comfirmation that includes a former IFL Heavyweight Champion in Ron “Big Country” Nelson, four former NFL football players, and a few returning UFC fighters.

- Kimbo Slice: Former EliteXC heavyweight contender and YouTube sensation
- Roy Nelson: Former IFL Heavyweight Champion
- Wes Sims: UFC Veteran – Fought current UFC champion Frank Mir at UFC 43 and UFC 46
- Marcus Jones: NFL Veteran – Former 1st round NFL draft pick with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers
- Wes Shivers: NFL Veteran – played for Tennessee Titans and Atlanta Falcons
- Brendan Schaub: NFL Veteran – played for Buffalo Bills
- Matt Mitrione: NFL Veteran for New York Giants and Minnesota Vikings
- Abe Wagner: Played linebacker at Michigan Tech
- Mike Wessel: UFC veteran and former strength and conditioning coach at University of Arkansas
- Justin Wren: High school All-American wrestler
- Zak Jenson: Standout wrestler at Augsburg College
- Scott Junk: Division II All-American football player at Southwest Oklahoma State and a one-fight UFC veteran
- James McSweeney: Former Kickboxing and Muay Thai champion
- John Madsen: Defeated Brock Lesnar in a high school wrestling match
- Demico Rogers: High school football and wrestling star
- Darrill Schoonover: Decorated Army veteran and Undefeated Pro Fighter out of TX
